Capacity and Institutional Building Strategy (CIBIS) Trains leaders and activists of the disability movement in organizational management, fundraising and how to lobby and advocate for disability rights in their countries and in the region. Strengthens the organizational structures of DPOs.
To fill the skill’s gap and to groom new and
young leaders in the disability movement of the region SAFOD runs the
Capacity and Institutional Building Strategy.
SAFOD also received support towards this
programme and the African Decade from Action on Disability and Development
(ADD) and Disability Awareness in Action (DAA), UK.
